Group Clinical Pilates Classes

Clinical Pilates Classes are ‘matwork’ based and use modified exercises in a fun class setting.

Each class will have a different focus, including, but not limited to:

  • Overall Posture

  • Joint movement ranges and restrictions

  • ‘Core’ Strength

  • Strength and Flexibility of muscle groups

  • Patterns of Movement/ How you use your muscles

  • Muscle Imbalances (Overuse of some muscles and underuse of others)

Small equipment such as spikey balls, resistance bands and overballs are also used to bring challenges and interaction to classes.

Classes are bookable as a course and are limited to 8 in the small hall, 12 in the large hall and 8 in the dance studio.

This system of modified Pilates was designed by the Physiotherapists at the renowned APPI (The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) in London and is based on scientific research.

Please Note:

  • If you're new to Pilates or are symptomatic, you will be required to attend an Initial 1:1 Pilates Appointment before joining a class.

  • A Health Questionnaire needs to be submitted to join a Pilates class.
